Zephyr, a collection by Nathan Cherrington Toni&Guy

Collection Inspiration:
Self-governance seeps from the veins of this female squad who belie their years with an aura of cool confidence and expensiveness. Void of the traditional convention of rebellion often associated with youth culture, ZEPHYR captures a refreshing vibe that is less ‘anti-establishment’ and more ‘anti-stereotype’. Evolving from his preferred street aesthetic, the stylist has induced a new level of sophistication into his work, whilst maintaining a predominantly editorial hair fashion direction.

Colour work is rich with opulent shine, allowing textural elements to remain centre stage via strong haircuts and styling. The inclusion of a harsh undercut, snaking up-do and effervescent blonde fringe on a shaved head provide evidence of an artist looking to push trend boundaries and set an alternative agenda for hair fashion.

A deluxe intermixing of all white luxe basics including a mesh vest and the renaissance of the teen crop combine with sharp and elegant tailoring to elevate this collection into an impeccably polished and high fashion aesthetic.

The collection adopts the photographic style of British cult publication- iD magazine, with a stylistic code of straight-up image capture, void of superfluous embellishments or over-engineered postproduction. Shot against a trending teal backdrop the overall feel is incredibly fresh and fashion led.
