Inspiration for this collection came through energy and people. Our DNA, the make-up of our frame and character, each image was individually inspired- looking into each girl’s form and creating something unique. Darren’s collection has been a design and creation of stripped back, natural femininity using bare light. The focus was on how the hair is caught in the light, the purity allows the vintage colour tones to play. Iridescent and saturated colour was applied freehand, tie-dying the tones, letting them infused in certain areas to create a multi-faceted canvas. These tones were pulled together with organic and contemporary shapes for an editorial and ethereal finish.
