British Hairdressing Awards Collection 2017 – Southern Hairdresser of the Year
‘I wanted to create a collection that was universally appealing’ says Ceri Cushen, Colour Director at Metropolis Hairdressing, Kingstonupon-Thames. ‘The aim was to craft styles that would excite our clients while still inspiring our hairdressing peers. The feel for the shoot came from George Michael’s iconic Fast Love video and the way it combined dark gothic elements with an edge of fantasy, while still being utterly beautiful to watch. I loved his use of colour and wanted to recreate that in my collection.

From bold neon peach layers to subtle flashes of petrol green through a geometic bowl cut, each style offers the precision you’d expect with a playful edge that’s fresh and youthful. ‘I wanted to show as many techniques as possible, while still producing an end result that was both beautiful and covetable. I’m thrilled with the result.’
