  • For the second year in a row, the hair stylist has presented his new collection in front of important professionals from all over the world as a finalist of the Visionary Awards

Carlos Valiente, returned to parade with his work, a few days ago, at the Royal Albert Hall in London. For the second consecutive year, Valiente participated as a finalist in the international ‘Visionary Awards’ wich are given every year in one of the most important hairstyling events in the world, the Alternative Hair Show. As a finalist, Carlos Valiente prepared a hairdressing parade, along with his team, with who he showed in front hundreds of professionals from all over the world, his latest collection ‘Sin Alma’ (Soulless), which was nominated for the award in the category of Avant-Garde.

For the Spanish hairdresser to parade in one of the most emblematic buildings of the British capital “is always an honour, and do it for the second consecutive year, is a privilege,” he said. It should be noted that last year Valiente was selected for his work for the category of Men’s Fashion, while this year has been finalist in the most artistic and innovative discipline, the category of Avant-Garde.

Finally, Carlos Valiente and his team could not win the award, although for the professional “to be in a final is already a great achievement and even more seeing the great level that was that year in the competition,” he says. “On the other hand, I would also like to congratulate my partner, José García (Kumen Hair) who takes the prize in the Avant-Garde category for Spain, helping our collective to claim the excellent moment that the Spanish hairdressing is living”, adds Valiente.
