Inspiration by Gregson Gastar
Blue, inspired by an amazing blue door nestled in the alleyway of my apartment block, set the scene for my new men’s collection. With the barbering trend still going strong, I chose to incorporate barbering elements yet with a softness and touchable feel. I still wanted hair to be hair, and not overloaded with product, but more enhancing natural texture and softness. Strong lines are used within the haircuts but the silhouetted shapes have been kept softer. The hair falls in the direction it is cut.
Keeping with the feel of Blue, I used a slight desaturated was to create a more rustic and old-school feel, juxtaposed against a modern twist to hair, maintaining a timeless appeal.
